    Recruitment Process

    Submit application with electrical qualifications (ÖVE/EN 50110-compliant experience a plus), 3-year employment history, and references

    Video interview with Austrian electrical contractor; Dienstvertrag (employment contract) issued with KV Elektro (electrical collective agreement) wage

    Rot-Weiß-Rot card application: employer files AMS pre-clearance, then candidate applies at Austrian consulate — 6–8 weeks processing; German A2 certificate required (employer funds Deutschkurs)

    Rot-Weiß-Rot card issued (initial 2-year validity, renewable); Austrian embassy appointment for biometrics
